Your First Appointment

 

On booking your first treatment with me, please allow an extra fifteen to twenty minutes, so that we may talk through a full consultation. We will look at your lifestyle and health, any medical conditions you are experiencing, what medication, if any, you are currently taking and whether you are currently being treated by any other health professionals. 

 

As a holistic therapist, I treat each person as unique. Rather than looking at individual symptoms, we will be looking at what is having impact on your wellbeing on all levels, mind, body and spirit. This presents an opportunity to bring about the balance that enables healing to place. We all want optimal health and the requires some self-awareness and self-care and sometimes we may need to look at making positive changes in our lifestyle. The treatments I offer can support your personal growth.

Often referred to as "complementary" therapies, they are not a substitute for the medical profession, but work well alongside, and as a preventative measure. If you have been diagnosed with, or suspect you may have a medical condition, you should consult your G.P for advice before starting any therapies or treatments.

It goes without saying that all information given will be held in complete confidence and in accordance with GDPR legalisation.

Aftercare Advice

 

The therapies I offer aim to not only release physical tension, stress and alleviate pain, but also to aid in re-balancing your energic pathways. In doing so, you may experience some changes in your body and your emotions. These may feel different but are positive steps as you gain more self-awareness.

After a treatment, it would be helpful for you to listen to your body and what it needs.

​

This might include:

  • Drinking plenty of water to help the everyday toxins that find their way into our systems.

  • Avoid alcohol and any other strong substances while your body rebalances.

  • Eat lightly for 12 hours to allow your body to focus on maintenance and repair and less on digestion.

 

Self-awareness and self-love are so important to maintaining good health and vitality.
